Lennar, America’s second-largest residential builder, just announced that it plans to open two new active adult communities with a total of 180 homes within the highly desirable master-planned development of Harmony on the Lakes in Georgia’s Cherokee County.
Lennar is currently building two model homes in each active adult community.
Lennar plans to build 40 detached homes in The Gardens of Harmony North, located on Hickory Road and inside the master-planned development. These thoughtfully designed homes will have two or three bedrooms, single-level living, and range in size from approximately 1,974 to 2,600 square feet. Homes, which are priced from the low $300s, will feature spacious floor plans and quality finishes.
Residents of The Gardens of Harmony North will also have access to all of the amenities found in Harmony on the Lakes, which include an outdoor pool, lighted tennis courts, a playground, walking trails, and Bradshaw Lake.
Lennar’s second active adult community, dubbed The Gardens of Harmony, will be located adjacent to Harmony on the Lakes and right off Stringer Road. This active adult community will host 140 residences and will be targeted toward the Baby Boomer market.
Residents of The Gardens of Harmony will have access to the master-planned amenities as well as its own private amenities that include a clubhouse, outdoor pool and sundeck, covered pavilion, picnic tables, two bocce courts, four pickleball courts, tennis court, and walking and biking trails.
All homes within the 55-plus neighborhood will be low-maintenance and offer plenty of storage options. Homes in this community are also priced starting in the low $300s. Lennar will unveil the new models for The Gardens of Harmony North at a grand opening event on April 22 and 23.
