Active adults are heading to the Tampa area in droves. There’s a lot of sunshine, plenty of water activities, and everything from golf courses to art museums to stay busy. There’s also a reasonable cost of living. Florida has no state income tax or inheritance tax or estate tax. Gas and groceries cost less than they do in a lot of other east coast cities. Housing prices are also a nice surprise. For $250,000, someone moving into the Tampa area can afford space, amenities, and even extras like golf course living or waterfront features.
Check out these five Tampa Bay communities and what you can get for your $250,000 budget.
