Winfield was opened in 1997 and completed in 2000. It features 526 residences, constructed by multiple builders, including both townhomes and single-family homes. There is also a private, gated neighborhood within the community known as Montesano. This enclave contains 55 luxurious, custom-built homes, many with swimming pools and guest wings. Homes today are available on a resale basis.

Amenities and Lifestyle

The Winfield community is open to residents of all ages, yet its amenities and social activities are particularly appealing to active adult homebuyers. At the heart of the community, a 13,500-square-foot clubhouse provides plenty of space for events, special-interest group meetings, or casual socializing.

Residents can gather in spacious social areas complete with indoor and outdoor fireplaces, share a meal at the on-site Standing Rock Cafe, or have a barbecue on the clubhouse patio. There are also meeting rooms, a billiards room, and a media lounge.

The 13,500 square-foot clubhouse boasts a collection of resort-style amenities and amazing views.

The clubhouse fitness center offers cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, as well as an aerobics studio, locker rooms, and steam rooms. Outdoors, residents can swim in the resort-style pool, relax on the surrounding sundeck, or enjoy some friendly competition on one of the eight lighted tennis courts. The 72-acre mountain preserve also offers miles of trails for walking, biking, and hiking.

Single-family homes within Winfield include spacious floor plans ranging from 2,317 to 2,959 square feet. Designs were originally offered with two to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and a two- or three-car garage. Many homes also have separate dens and some have casitas for guests. Master bedrooms are luxurious with spa-like bathrooms and large walk-in closets. Kitchens open into spacious living areas and patios are included for outdoor living.
