About Summer Chase

Summer Chase in Lake Worth, Florida is a 55+ community offering great low-maintenance living. This gated community consists of 221 single-family homes available on a resale-only basis. Residents enjoy a myriad of options for entertainment and recreation in the surrounding area. Well-designed homes along with excellent amenities in a scenic area makes this a great community for Florida's active adults.

Summer Chase Amenities

Located in the back of Summer Chase is the clubhouse. Here, residents enjoy amenities geared towards keep them socially and physically active. Inside the clubhouse there is an exercise room, sauna, card rooms, billiards, and a multi-purpose room where residents can play games or join one of the many clubs that regularly meet.

The amenities continue outside with two tennis courts, four shuffleboard courts, and an outdoor pool and spa. A barbecue area is available for residents to enjoy on beautiful summer days. Walking and biking trails also wind through the community offering a great way to stay active in the beautiful Florida weather.

Summer Chase Homes & Real Estate

Built by Oriole Homes between 1990 and 2000, Summer Chase consists of 221 single-family homes available on a resale basis. These homes offer residents two to three bedrooms, two to two-and-a-half bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage with 1,757 to 2,343 square feet of living space. All homes provide single-level living and are perfect for active adults with open floor plans and low-maintenance exteriors.

Summer Chase Lifestyle

Residents of Summer Chase enjoy a great low-maintenance lifestyle. Each homeowner pays an annual homeowners' association fee which covers general maintenance of the community along with lawn care and trash removal of all homes.

This allows residents the ability to spend more time with family and friends and less time worrying about tedious tasks around the home. With so much more time on their hands residents can join one of the many clubs and activities in the community. Card clubs, book club, and cultural clubs all regularly meet in the clubhouse and provide great opportunities for social interaction with neighbors and friends.

Our HOA contracted with a local well known landscape + management company in 2017. To date Summer Chase landscape is lush and healthy. Our roads were repaved two-months ago. Aesthetically Summer Chase improved exponentially. The previous review was true then, but no longer.

As a resident for the past 7 years, I have seen a steady decline in the area of property management. Overall, this is a very nice community. Homes are well maintained and owners take pride in their property. The issues I have is lawn maintenance and lack of property managements concerns for dealing with such issues. They put their contractors problems above resident's concerns and provide excuses instead of solutions. Work orders need to be submitted for work that should be performed as usual. If we had known how poor the management company was, we would not have purchased a home in Summer Chase.
