JerMae Estates is an active adult community in Thurmont, Maryland. JerMae Estates Amenities

JerMae Estates is a great option for 55+ homebuyers who are golf enthusiasts as they'll have access to the Maple Run Golf Course. This 18-hole course is pay-to-play and features beautiful greens that are simultaneously challenging yet accessible. Maple Run is a par-72 course that was designed by Russell Moser and offers 6,553 yards of great scenery in a classic layout.

JerMae Estates also has golf practice facilities, including a pro shop, so golfers can brush up and buy new equipment before hitting the course. For the outdoor enthusiast, JerMae Estates also boasts walking and biking trails flanked by parks and scenic lakes for a picturesque stroll around the community. 

JerMae Estates Homes & Real Estate

JerMae Estates was developed between 2003 and 2008 and contains 108 homes. There are 82 single-family homes and 26 attached units in this community. The attached units range in size from approximately 1,340 to 2,236 square feet with three or four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and an attached one-car garage. Some of the attached homes offer residents additional den spaces, hardwood flooring, and gas fireplaces.

JerMae Estates is primarily made up of single-family homes that range in size from 1,369 to 3,200 square feet with three or four bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, and an attached one or two-car garage. Offering a bit more space, some of these homes offer loft spaces, stainless steel appliances, sitting rooms in the master suite, and beautiful views of the Catoctin Mountains.

Area

JerMae Estates is in Thurmont, Maryland. Just a few minutes from the community residents will find several stores for everyday conveniences like fast food restaurants, Weis Markets, banks and a Family Dollar. The Catoctin Mountain Highway is also nearby for getting around town while, for farther travel, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is approximately 60 miles away.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love that Thurmont is home to Catoctin Mountain Park, Cunningham Falls State Park, and the Catoctin Mountain Orchard. The Thurmont Regional Library is also a favorite for locals. The area is also home to several vineyards.
