The original developer, Maplewood Homes, began building homes in 2006 and in 2011 Ryan Homes acquired the community. Homebuyers can choose from an inventory of resale luxury homes that range in size from 1,350 to 2,505 square feet.

All residences have two or three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Additional features include energy saving features and 42" cabinets. Standard features include ceramic tile floors in kitchens, foyers, and bathrooms as well as soaking tubs in the master bathrooms. The community is three quarters surrounded by the Woodlake Country Club Golf Course so many lots are very private with desirable views and some lots are wooded as well.
