Jubilee at Los Lunas
Overpriced homes. Pool and spa broken more than it is open. Very negligent developer. Not like what it was 4 years ago. Big events only when they do a sales event. Don’t get pulled in to this unhappy situation.
The community is still growing with new homes being built and bought. There was a management change last year, which made visible improvements to the functioning and maintenance. Complaints about the previous management were deserved, but appear to be in the rear-view mirror now. Moved in during Spring of 2021 and learned that many longtime residents were bummed about the drastic curtailment of activities that were available pre-COVID. Coupled with this a new housing development started adjacent to the westside of Jubilee and the first stupid mistake that developer made was denuding the entire 180-acre site of vegetation, which allowed the prevailing winds to blow significant dust onto Jubilee seasonally. I think these factors contributed to negative reviews. Nevertheless, the residents here are generally very friendly and welcoming, and count several neighbors as new friends. Activities have been steadily increasing throughout 2022 and are probably back to pre-COVID levels. The previous developer’s landscaping and maintenance neglectfulness are being rectified. I hardly give anyone 5 stars, because perfection is a rare thing. So, my 4-star rating means that I would move here again, knowing what I have experienced the last two years. This a quiet, safe gated community with as much activity as you care to engage. You will be welcomed here.
It’s sad because the people are great. Great people can’t make up for uncaring developer, aging infrastructure and a HOA board that is controlled by the developer, his family and their lawyer. The home designs are dated along with amenities.
Beautiful gates community in Los Lunas. The facilities are very nice. Very active with classes including; exercise, yoga, line dancing, pickle ball, cards, billiards water aerobics, etc. very friendly residents. Happy Hour every Friday in the villa.
What a lovely community with such welcoming people. We met many residents at a recent event there and were so impressed with the friendliness and great recommendations.
