About Laurel Ridge

Laurel Ridge will be an active lifestyle community located in Carthage, North Carolina about an hour from Raleigh. The community will be in a prime location, close to several exciting opportunities and daily conveniences. Laurel Ridge will feature 40 single-family homes, offering six home models to choose from.

Residents of Laurel Ridge enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle thanks to a homeowners’ association that takes care of common area maintenance. With more free time, homeowners at Laurel Ridge can enjoy spending time with family or pursuing new hobbies.

Laurel Ridge Homes & Real Estate 

Caviness and Cates began construction of Laurel Ridge in 2020 and plans to develop 41 single-family homes. The homes will come in six different floorplans including Canton, Liberty, Calabash, Arbor, Newton, and Carthage.

These homes will range from 1,715 to 2,657 square feet and will feature three to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and either a two or three-car garage. The Liberty model will also feature a den space. Most of these homes will also feature kitchen islands, a fireplace, a covered porch, and master bedrooms. 

Surrounding Area 

Laurel Ridge will be located in Carthage, an hour from Raleigh. This location puts residents close to everyday necessities and fun opportunities. 

Residents of Laurel Ridge will be in close reach to any daily conveniences they may need, including Food Lion, Frank’s Food Center, Walmart, and Dollar Tree. Pharmacy needs can be met at Walgreens and CVS.

Laurel Ridge will also be close to multiple health care providers, including Pinehurst Family Care Center, St. Luke’s Medical Practice, and FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. 

When homeowners are looking for entertainment or dining options in the area they can travel along US-15 which leads to several restaurants, bars, and shops. There are also a variety of attractions in the area, including Broadhurst Art Gallery, Sandhills Horticultural Gardens, and Rankin Museum of American History.

Homeowners who want to get outside will find plenty of options to explore in the area. There are multiple greenspaces and parks to choose from, including Moore County Parks & Rec, Nick’s Creek Greenway, and James W. Tufts Memorial Park.
