    Liberty Township is located in Butler County, Ohio and is a part of the Cincinnati metro area. Its affordable cost of living and continuous commercial growth have made Liberty Township an attractive retirement destination.     Climate & Geography

    Southwest Ohio has a humid continental climate, meaning there are four distinct seasons with hot, humid summers and cold winters that are often snowy. Residents can expect more rainfall and less snowfall than average, and approximately 179 sunny days throughout each year.

    Situated in the Till Plains region of Ohio, the surrounding terrain is characterized by rolling hills and plain fields. The Great Miami River runs along the northwest border of the township, and there are also plenty of small bodies of water and green spaces throughout.

    Those in search of a comfortable lifestyle will love the small town amenities of Liberty. There are many opportunities to get outdoors and stay active such as visiting the Niederman Family Farm or Wetlands Park. Both of these areas are ideal for hiking, camping, sightseeing, and observing the local wildlife. Liberty Center is by far the most popular shopping outlet, with plenty of restaurants, stores, antique shops, and seasonal events.

    Residents can also drive down to Cincinnati where they can explore famous attractions and enjoy even more opportunities for shopping, dining, and entertainment in the metropolitan city.
