We've moved in about two months ago and are very happy with our choice of community. The neighbors are all very friendly, most are transplants from the Northeast and Midwest. Lots of activities at the clubhouse and the area is close to medical services, airport and city amenities. Management is professional, courteous and quick to respond.
The house is just what we were looking for. It is a very nice floor plan at a very competitive price. The location is terrific in the sense that it is out of the real hustle bustle of the metro Charlotte area but is extremely accessible to all the amenities that one could need or want.
The developers representative, Eleanor, was a first class professional and was responded quickly and thoroughly to all of our questions. The construction project manager, Shance, was equally wonderful to work with. Give them A+ for their efforts and responsibility.
Overall the quality of the house construction was good with two exceptions. Trim and detail were compromised because of the tempo with which homes are being built. Most of our dissatisfaction can be easily remedied because it is substantially cosmetic. Paint, trim, fit and so on.
Secondly, we opted to have an expensive in house stereo system installed. It doesn't work properly and we got practically no support from the sub contractor who installed the system for Lennar. I certainly would not have paid for this system if I knew that I would not get a lot of value for the price.
We've been out to look at this community a couple times and have a floor plan picked out we like, the Bethany. They just started the clubhouse last month so I would guess that won't be open until sometime next year. I think we'll be ready to make a move next year also so this could be the community for us. We've been pretty impressed so far but we've prefer to see how the clubhouse turns out before making a commitment to live here.
