    Moved here 12 years ago from the Seattle area when we retired looking for year-round golf at an affordable price. What we especially like is the diversity of homes. It is not a "cookie cutter development". Friendly neighbors, a quiet well-kept neighborhood with views of Madera Canyon and Mount Wrightson, which is the tallest of the Santa Rita Mountains towering 9400 feet. The center piece is the fifty-year-old tree lined 18-hole golf course bordered on the east by the dry river bed of the Santa Cruz River and the Anza Trail. The Country Club of Green Valley's Clubhouse with a swimming pool, golf shop and restaurant provides a central location for an active social life in this 3000 foot high desert community only 20 miles south of Tucson and the Tucson International Airport.
