Situated in the popular Naples area, Vineyards offers plenty of on-site amenities as well as convenient access to the area’s beaches, shopping centers, restaurants, and other attractions. The Florida retirement community itself is spread across 1,375 acres. It features two 18-hole championship golf courses, a 70,000 square-foot clubhouse, a 32-acre community park, numerous sports facilities, swimming pools and beautiful homes in a variety of styles and sizes.

Amenities

The community amenities are mostly centered on the Vineyards Country Club, which is commonly referred to as simply the Club. This elegantly-appointed, 70,000 square-foot clubhouse contains resort-style amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, beautiful dining rooms, hobby and game rooms, a golf pro shop and plenty of room for socializing either in small groups or at organized community events.

While most active adults expect Florida retirement communities to offer ample indoor amenities, what they really expect them to offer are first-class outdoor amenities. With all of the wonderful weather the state has to offer, it’s no surprise that active adults want to get outside and enjoy it while doing their favorite things—whether golfing an expert course, hiking a nearby trail, or lounging by the pool.

The Vineyards’ premium golf and tennis facilities provide ample opportunity for challenging play and friendly competition. The two 18-hole golf courses each offer their own distinct styles. The North Course is a Scottish links-style course, while the South Course is intriguing, yet accessible for players of any skill level. The tennis center features 12 Har-Tru tennis courts, six lighted courts and a variety of training and competitive programs.

Memberships

Residents at the Vineyards have four different options when it comes to country club membership: Full Golf, Sports, Lifestyle and Social. All four of these membership levels allow full use of the Club’s swimming, fitness, and social facilities. Limitations are placed on the golf and tennis amenities, depending on the level of membership.

Those who opt for a Social membership mainly enjoy the swimming, fitness and social amenities. They have limited access to the tennis courts and are not allowed to use the golf facilities. Both the Lifestyle and Sports memberships allow full use of the tennis facilities and varying levels of access to the golf amenities. As the highest level of membership, the Full Golf package grants priority access to all of the golf and tennis amenities, with no greens or court fees.

Residences

Although development began on Vineyards in 1986, the community is still growing. Upon completion, the development is planned to include 2,733 residences. This includes mid-rise condominiums, attached coach homes, and luxurious single-family estate homes. There are several neighborhoods within the Vineyards community, such as Hammock Isles, Avellino Isles, Vista Pointe, and Venezia Grand Estates.

While Vineyards is open to all ages, it is a spectacular community that is sure to appeal to active adult retirees. This Southwest Florida development offers a wide variety of resort-style amenities, yet four levels of membership packages let residents custom tailor a lifestyle to meet their own needs.
