Comprised of 672 well-appointed resale condos, this community is perfect for downsizing.

Fox Hills is the kind of place where retirees don’t have to worry about mowing their lawns or maintaining the outsides of their homes. Comprised of 672 well-appointed resale condos, this community is perfect for downsizing. Each residential building on the gated property has three stories and elevators, and the ten floor plans range from 820 up to 2,935 square feet. The units have one to three bedrooms, one- to two-and-a-half baths, balconies, and assigned garage parking spots. Options include dens, breakfast bars, and luxury master bathrooms, and the monthly homeowners’ association (HOA) fee provides for trash pickup, snow removal, and access to the community amenities.

Speaking of which, Fox Hill’s 26,000-square-foot clubhouse has indoor and outdoor pools, plus a fitness center, sports courts, and activity rooms. It’s where many of the community activity groups meet; some of the most popular ones are Mah Jongg, canasta, and water aerobics. Friends also gather together for off-site excursions, like bowling and shopping.

You’ll find plenty of those shopping outlets near the property, including a Target, a Shoprite, and a Walgreens. The nearest medical facilities are Kindred Hospital Morris County and Morristown Medical Center. When you want to get out for some leisure time, you can hit the links at Berkshire Valley Golf Course or check out the many parks scattered throughout the NY/NJ Highlands.

The seven floor plans range from 979 to 1,997 square feet, with one to two bedrooms, large balconies, in-unit laundry rooms, and one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half baths. All are housed within three-story buildings with elevators, and each unit has one parking spot in the underground garages. Some of these must-see condos also have dens, hardwood floors, and updated kitchens and bathrooms, and the HOA fee covers snow removal, trash pickup, and common area maintenance.

Greenbriar also has a welcoming clubhouse, and inside, you’ll find an indoor pool and spa, an internet cafe, and gathering rooms. There’s also an outdoor pool, sports courts, and a good number of exciting lifestyle groups and events to participate in. As an added bonus, this active adult community has a part-time activities director who plans out the social clubs and community events.
