Living in Delray Beach

Delray Beach is a coastal city in Palm Beach County, minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and close to shopping, great restaurants, art galleries, and museums as well as nature parks and trails. Residents choose to live here for the proximity to great golf courses, beaches, and outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and biking.

Atlantic Dunes Park and Gulfstream Park are two locally popular beaches, and the thriving downtown area frequently hosts art festivals, food truck rallies, farmers markets, and exhibitions. The Cornell Art Museum and the Crest Theater have been around since the early twentieth century.

Golfers will enjoy visiting the Delray Beach Golf Club, Lakeview Golf Club, and Addison Reserve Country Club

With little land left to develop in Delray Beach, Lennar has taken advantage of an existing opportunity with the 110 acres of land. Ground was broken on this project in 2019.

The land that’s now Avalon Trails was once an abandoned golf course. In a statement, 13th Floor Homes said: "With the support of the surrounding Delray Beach community, our team has succeeded in transforming what was once a shuttered golf course into a vibrant active adult community."
