Avalon Trails Amenities and Opportunities

Buyers looking for modern amenities that provide social and fitness-forward lifestyle opportunities will find them at Avalon Trails. The Club at Avalon Trails will be a gathering point for the community, offering residents a chance to hold meetings, engage with each other through special interest clubs, and enjoy activities, social events, and classes.

Several meeting and multi-purpose rooms are planned as well as a card room and an arts and crafts studio. Residents will have a modern fitness center for weight training, cardio workouts, and exercise classes. The community will also have a cafe and a theater for live performances and movie screenings. 

Living in Florida means year-round sunshine, and residents at Avalon Trails will have no trouble taking advantage of outdoor recreational and leisure activities. A resort-style pool and patio will provide an excellent setting for morning swims and lazy afternoons. A lap pool is also planned for anyone who wants to get some exercise, and there will be two tennis courts and four pickleball courts. Plenty of walking and biking trails will wind through the community, which will also includes greenspaces and shady trees.

Delray Beach Real Estate at Avalon Trails

Low-maintenance living with attached villas provides for an outstanding Florida retirement. At Avalon Trails, homes will start in the mid $300s and go to the mid $400s. Buyers have eight models to consider right now, all of them with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached one-car garage. Most of the floor plans also have den space, and there are currently 217 homes planned. The Augustus and Charlotte models are the most space-efficient, with 1,328 square feet. The Victoria model offers larger homes at 1,600 square feet.

Open floor plans, spacious great rooms, and optional extended patios will be available in the completed homes. Master suites have walk-in closets and double sinks, and the kitchens are set up for cooking and entertaining with oversized islands that can accommodate seating.

Why Live in Delray Beach?

Active adults who appreciate golf, fishing, boating, beach activities, and exceptional dining will enjoy the seaside city of Delray Beach. Avalon Trails is ideally located between Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike, making it easy to get around town and travel across the state. 

The beach is just minutes away, and residents will enjoy the boardwalk and hiking trails available at Atlantic Dunes Beach. Another favorite beach among locals is Anchor Park. Yacht cruises and fishing charters set sail from the shore, and surfers can usually be found enjoying the waves at Delray Beach’s public beach area.

For shopping, dining, and nightlife, East Atlantic Avenue has some great options, and it’s a 10-minute drive from Avalon Trails. Deck 84 has trendy signature drinks as well as traditional martinis and an extensive wine list. The waterfront restaurant also features fresh seafood specials. The best place to grab a burger and a beer is Boston’s on the Beach. Shopping in the area is local and unique with gift shops, jewelers, and art galleries offering eclectic products and artsy collectibles. 

Active adult buyers looking to be close to golf courses won’t be disappointed in Delray Beach. The area has a number of championship courses, including Delray Beach Golf Club, Lakeview Golf Club, and Delaire Country Club.

Nature lovers will enjoy the hiking trails and wildlife viewing opportunities in Delray Beach. Don’t forget the camera for a trip to Seacrest Scrub Natural Area, where gopher tortoises and several bird species are often spotted. Wakodahatchee Wetlands is an excellent place to look for alligators, turtles, and wading birds from the boardwalk.

Sales are now open at Avalon Trails, and more information on floor plans, HOA fees, and community events are expected from the builder in the coming months.
