It’s also pretty affordable compared to other Treasure Coast towns. Today, we’re looking at the best lowest-priced communities in Vero Beach and highlighting the amenities they offer, including proximity to great golf courses, state-of-the-art fitness centers, and plenty of social activities.

Woodfield

High $100s – Mid $300s

Woodfield is an intimate 55+ community of single-family homes and attached villas. There are 454 properties in a close-knit neighborhood that’s within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the Indian River Mall. The community clubhouse has a fitness center and an aerobics room where residents can take yoga, dance, Tai Chi, and Zumba classes. A movie theater, a billiards space, and two card rooms are also available to residents. Outside, there’s a resort-style pool and spa, a patio, and tennis courts.

Homes at Woodfield are available as resale properties. The villas are the most affordable options, with 1,382 to 1,727 square feet, two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and attached one-car garages. There are five models, and some of the floor plans include breakfast bars, large walk-in closets, and oversized laundry rooms. Buyers can also choose a home with a den. The single-family homes are available in more than a dozen models. They have three or four bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages.

Vista Del Mar

High $100s – Low $300s

Beachfront living typically comes with a high price tag, but at Vista Del Mar, that doesn’t have to be the case. It’s possible to buy an affordably priced condo with a view of the water and private beach access. Housed in three-story buildings with elevators, Vista Del Mar condos come in one- or two-bedroom models with assigned parking spots and between 800 to 2,000 square feet. Buyers can find private balconies, Florida rooms, and formal dining rooms in many condos.

This 55+ community offers plenty of amenities and opportunities for socializing with neighbors. In addition to the private beach, there’s a pool and patio, shuffleboard courts, a picnic area, and a place for bocce ball. The clubhouse includes a library, a billiards room, and multi-purpose rooms. Residents get together for picnics, parties, and other community events.

Isles at Waterway Village

Low $200s – High $300s

Part of a larger master-planned community, Isles at Waterway Village is a gated community without age restrictions. The clubhouse includes a lounge, a fitness center, meeting rooms, multi-purpose rooms, and a place to play cards. There’s also a large pool and patio as well as tennis courts, parks and playgrounds, and several scenic trails and paths for walking and biking. Community events include pizza nights, game nights, water aerobics classes, and coffee socials.

Attached duplex homes are the most affordable options in the community, and they offer two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, and attached two-car garages. The Capri model has 1,526 square feet, or buyers can select the Carrington, which is slightly larger with 1,542 square feet. Single-family homes are also offered with three or four bedrooms and between 2,000 and 2,506 square feet.

The Willows

Mid $200s – High $200s 

Buyers looking for new construction Vero Beach homes for sale should consider The Willows, a small community for active adults looking to build a new home or begin a Florida retirement. Low-maintenance single-family homes are available in five models with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, an attached two-car garage, and 1,569 to 1,945 square feet. Some homes are move-in ready as resale properties. Kitchen islands, spacious great rooms with windows, and dedicated outdoor space are included.

An outdoor pool and a cabana with a patio area are available to residents, and there’s also plenty of outdoor space for walking, biking, or jogging. There’s lots of shopping in the area, and The Willows is close to Pointe West Country Club and other golf courses such as Vista Plantation.

Harmony Reserve

Mid $200s – Low $300s

New and resale homes are available at Harmony Reserve, a 55+ community surrounded by a natural preserve and acres of wetland habitat. Amenities are still being completed, including the clubhouse which will offer a fitness center and a modern movement studio. Residents can enjoy a card room, a banquet room, a catering kitchen, a pool with a patio, tennis courts, pickleball, and a place for bocce ball and horseshoes. Day trips and cooking classes are just some of the activities residents at Harmony Reserve enjoy together.

Attached villas are available in two- or three-bedroom models with 1,219 to 1,415 square feet, two bathrooms, and attached one-car garages. Most villas include a larger master suite with a huge walk-in closet and double sinks in the bathroom. Some floor plans include an outdoor lanai and a breakfast nook. The single-family homes are larger with 1,669 to 2,756 square feet and between two and four bedrooms. They also have gourmet kitchens as well as attached two-car garages with lots of storage.
