An Abundance of Pools

One pool is nice, but what about several different types of pools throughout the community? That’s what Solivita residents enjoy, and whether it’s swimming, soaking, or just sunbathing on the patio, the neighborhood has a pool for that. Homeowners can even take swimming lessons.

At the Palms Amenity Complex, residents can gather around the heated lap and splash pool at any time of year. There are also two whirlpool spas located near the outdoor fireplace. At the Riviera Spa and Fitness Center, members of the community have access to another heated pool, two spas, and an outdoor sundeck. There’s an indoor pool as well, which is heated.

Some of the neighborhoods that make up Solivita have their own pools, such as the Venezia Neighborhood Center and the Bella Viana Neighborhood Center. These outdoor pools include sundecks and spas.

The fitness centers are modern and include the latest equipment and weights. Group exercise classes are regularly held, as well as boot camps, toning, and plenty of fitness and health clubs. A separate aerobics studio is also available.

Homeowners who prefer to stay fit with sports can use the tennis courts, racquetball courts, bocce ball courts, and horseshoe pits. Softball, billiards, darts, and shuffleboard can all be played at Solivita. There’s also plenty of golf, which brings us to the next reason people love living here.

The semi-private Stonegate Golf Club is part of Solivita, and residents have opportunities to play two courses. Membership levels vary, depending on whether homeowners want a full golf membership or simple pay-to-play privileges. Social memberships are also available to non-golfers who still want access to the facilities and events.

The Oaks Course and the Cypress Course are both 18-holes and par-72. There’s also a putting green and an aquatic driving range. Inside, members can access the clubhouse, the pro shop, and The Grille at Stonegate. Mosaics Restaurant is also part of Stonegate, as well as a market and deli for players who want to grab their lunch and go.

Kissimmee is half an hour south of Orlando, just down the Florida Turnpike. Members of the community can reach Orlando’s shopping, theme parks, concert venues, and restaurants without fighting traffic and crowds inside the city. For homeowners who don’t want to travel that far, there’s also plenty to do right outside of the community.

Amusement parks are minutes away. Lake Tohopekaliga offers opportunities for long walks, wildlife viewing, and fishing. For additional outdoor fun, locals can visit Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park.

Disney Springs is a fun spot to shop, eat, and explore. Downtown Kissimmee also has locally-owned shops, bars, and boutiques that locals love visiting. The city also holds special events, such as outdoor concerts and farmers’ markets.

Solivita is close to major highways, allowing residents to easily reach Tampa and Daytona Beach. Exploring Florida is as easy as hopping on the Turnpike or Interstate 4.
