Delray Beach is also good for golfing, boating, fishing, and shopping.

Lakes of Delray

Below $100K – High $100s

For low-maintenance living and a lot of amenities, Lakes of Delray has a lot to offer, including resale condominiums below $150,000. This 55+ community is home to 1,400 modern condo units in two- and three-story buildings with elevators and security. Buyers can choose a home from 800 to 1,500 square feet with one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. There are assigned parking spaces, and a lot of homes have upgrades like granite counters, walk-in closets, and ceramic or marble floors. There are screened balconies and patios, many with views of some of the ponds and lakes found throughout this gated 55+ community.

Community bus transit is available, as well as an area for residents to wash their cars. Other amenities include a clubhouse, an exercise room, a sauna, and meeting rooms. There are pools and patios, shuffleboard and tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and space for basketball and racquetball. There’s also a golf driving net and plenty of space for walking, biking, and picnicking. At Lakes of Delray, residents enjoy clubs and community gatherings. Movie nights and cooking classes are frequent, and there’s a snowbirds club for the local part-time residents.

Las Verdes

If you’re multilingual, you know that Las Verdes means “the greens.” In Delray Beach, Las Verdes is a resort-like 55+ community with tons of amenities and real estate with desirable price tags. This is the place to be for active adults who love playing handball, shuffleboard, or tennis. There are bocce ball courts, an outdoor spa, and three pools. Residents gather at the clubhouse for card nights, wine and cheese parties, chair yoga, and holiday events. There’s also an exercise room with a sauna, a billiards room, and plenty of multi-purpose space.

Buyers interested in these Delray Beach homes for sale will find resale condos and attached villas in numerous models and floor plans. Condo units will be in three-story buildings. These homes offer 676 to 1,200 square feet with one to three bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. There’s assigned parking and private balconies and patios. The attached villas are designed as Lakewood models. These have 1,050 square feet, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached one-car garage.

High Point of Delray

At High Point of Delray, buyers will find seven distinct neighborhoods gathered into a single 55+ community with great amenities, a serious sense of community, and spacious attached homes. The amenity center includes a clubhouse, multi-purpose room, and game room. There’s also a pool and patio, tennis courts, and bocce ball courts. Residents can often be found taking swing dance lessons, meeting for yoga workouts, or enjoying arts and crafts. There’s a social hour every Friday night.

The resale homes available at High Point of Delray come in floor plans that offer between 970 and 1,887 square feet. Homes have between one and three bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. There’s plenty of parking for guests and residents. The beach is a 10-minute drive away, and this community is also close to downtown, restaurants, and shopping. Golfers will be happy to live just a few minutes from courses like Delray Beach Golf Club and The Seagate Country Club.

The Pines of Delray

Below $100K – High $100s

Foodies enjoy the lunch bunch club and the “just desserts” baking club at The Pines of Delray, a 55+ community with affordably priced attached villas and condos. Homes come in models offering between 812 and 1,600 square feet. Resale condos have between one and three bedrooms while attached villas are two-bedroom models. Some homes have eat-in kitchens while others have formal dining rooms. Back porches with screens, large closets, and open floor plans are some of the available features.

At The Pines of Delray, there’s a north and a south clubhouse with pools, patios, multi-purpose rooms, shuffleboard courts, and bocce ball courts. Residents can use the fitness center or the game room. A social committee meets once a month to plan activities, and the HOA takes care of things like exterior maintenance and landscaping.
