Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach sold its 1,000th home.

A new milestone has been reached by Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach: The 1,000th home has been sold at the popular 55+ community. With the first home being sold two-and-a-half years ago in the luxury gated community, the 1,000th home sold in September demonstrates the strength of this growing active adult enclave in Florida’s central Atlantic region.

Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach Real Estate

With more than 1,800 residents, Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach is Volusia County’s fastest-growing new construction housing development. Minto Homes began building the community in 2017 and plans to build more than 3,000 single-family homes and attached cottages in the neighborhood inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s laid-back lifestyle and catchy beach tunes.

Located about half a mile west of the Tomoka River Bridge, Minto has committed more than $4 million to extra roadwork that will be needed to facilitate less traffic and easier entry into the community along Tymber Creek Road.
