Built from 1999 to 2005 by Hometown America Communities, this mid-sized neighborhood has 465 resale, single-family homes. Floor plans start at just under 1,000 square feet and have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a garage. Some include appliances, sunrooms, and patios.

This land-lease community offers lower taxes; a homeowners’ association (HOA) fee provides for the municipal fee and common ground maintenance. You can find the residents spending time at the community clubhouse, indoor or outdoor pool, in the activity rooms, and at the links. This active adult community consists of 108 resale condos built from 1991 to 2007. There are seven models with two bedrooms, two baths, and a garage or parking spot. Each one features a luxurious master suite, and a balcony or porch.

There’s a private clubhouse with an exercise room, a catering kitchen, and an outdoor pool and patio. The 36-hole Seaview Golf Club is about five minutes away. The area is dotted with parks, greenspace, and all of the modern conveniences.

Traditions at Blueberry Ridge – Hammonton

Drive 30 minutes north of Atlantic City and you’ll run into Hammonton, the Blueberry Capital of the World. Homeowners in Traditions at Blueberry Ridge get all the advantages of a small town with the option of making a quick trip to the city. Built from 2005 to 2007 by Pulte Homes, this property has 134 single-family, resale homes. Floor plans are sized from 1,610 to 2,013 square feet. They offer two or three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and a two-car garage.

Traditions at Blueberry Ridge is close to Wharton State Forest, an expansive recreation area and wildlife preserve with biking, horseback riding, canoeing, and hiking trails. Built by D’Anastasio Corporation from 2004 to 2017, the attached townhomes are approximately 1,300 square feet with two bedrooms and bathrooms, and a one-car garage. Upgrades include patios, lofts, third bedrooms, and Florida rooms. The single families come in four models sized from 1,391 to 1,990 square feet with two to three bedrooms and bathrooms, and a one or two-car garage. Optional upgrades include lofts, sunrooms, fireplaces, and covered patios.

Tavistock has a private clubhouse with an exercise room, a great room, and a catering kitchen. Local attractions include Hamilton Golf Club and Driving Range, Balić Winery, Regal Cinemas Hamilton Commons, and Hamilton Mall.

The Village Grande at Little Mill – Egg Harbor Township
