Hampton Lake – Bluffton

Mid $300s – High $900s

Originally built in 2009, the community of Hampton Lake, located in Bluffton, features 900 single-family homes built by multiple builders. New and resale options are available for purchase. Houses within the neighborhood offer approximately 1,500 to 3,500 square feet of living space and can have up to two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. Some homesites even offer enviable water views. 

As far as amenities go in the neighborhood, there are more than enough for residents to take advantage of, including multiple on-site restaurants and grills, a state-of-the-art fitness center that features an indoor hydrojet pool and pilates room, lakeside docks with easy access to the 165-acre lake, an 18-hole golf course, and much more. 

Hilton Head Plantation – Hilton Head Island

 Mid $200s – High $3Ms

Spread over 4,000 acres in the Lowcountry, the gated Hilton Head Plantation offers residents a scenic location to live with high-end, resort-style amenities to go with it. The large complex has over 4,250 homes that have been constructed by multiple builders with several different looks and floor plans to choose. With everything from condos and townhomes to single-family residences, potential homeowners can take their pick from homes that have already been built or their own new custom construction.

Notable amenities in the established community include Hilton Head Plantation’s many pools, clubhouses, fitness room, grilling area, and expansive verandas. Outdoors, residents will find a marina, two miles of beaches, fishing lagoons, four golf courses, six miles of walking and biking trails, a 50-Acre Cypress Conservancy, gardening area, and several athletic fields.

Sun City Hilton Head – Bluffton

High $100s – Mid $700s

Named one of the top 55+ communities in the country, Sun City Hilton Head continuously stands out among its peers. With a wide price range, the beloved Del Webb community has options to fit anyone’s budget. And with more than 8,200 homes in the complex there are plenty of floor plans and designs to choose from no matter a potential homebuyers tastes or style.

Both new and resale homes are available with everything from 1,000 square-foot attached homes to single-family homes with 4,000 square feet of living space. Amenities are above and beyond with 54 holes of golf, a 20-acre fishing lake, two indoor lap pools, expansive fitness center, photography studio, and more.

The Haven – Bluffton

 High $200s – Low $400s

The Haven is one of the Hilton Head and Bluffton’s smaller communities with only 500 homes within the neighborhood. It’s gated and age restricted to 55+ with prices starting in the high $200s. Most homes within the community are single-family ranchers that range in size from 1,500 to a little over 2,700 square feet, but there are options to add a second-floor loft to new construction homes.

Draws to the community are the 8,500 square-foot clubhouse, fitness center, internet cafe, ballroom, Olympic-sized pools, athletic courts, dog park, and fishing lakes. It’s also conveniently located close to the famous Palmetto Bluff, Hilton Head, and Savannah.

The Reserve at Cypress Ridge – Bluffton

 Mid $200s – High $200s

This extra small community is a great location for active adults who want a close-knit neighborhood and plenty of privacy. With only 62 homes, The Reserve at Cypress Ridge offers residents low-maintenance living in Bluffton with lots of amenities. Construction began in 2018, so this gated community has only new D.R. Horton homes available for sale.

Houses are single-family with single-level floorplans and two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached-garage. Floor plans have sizes ranging from approximately 1,588 to 1,883 square feet in living space. Although it is small, the Reserve does not lack for amenities with a 7,000 square-foot clubhouse, three-story fitness center, outdoor pool, scenic lake, and RV/boat storage, just to name a few.
