Hilton Head Plantation offers an attractive list of amenities that appeal to outdoor enthusiasts including over two miles of beaches on Port Royal Sound, a full-scale marina, fishing lagoons, six miles of walking and biking trails, gardening plots, and two nature conservancies.
And for the homeowners who would rather spend their time playing games and discovering new hobbies over getting their hands dirty, Hilton Head Plantation has plenty of indoor facilities too. These facilities are located in The Dolphin Head Recreational Area, Plantation House, and Spring Lake Pavilion.
When homeowners need a heart-healthy workout, they can migrate to one of the many state-of-the-art fitness centers located within the community, where they ll find recumbent bikes, treadmills, elliptical trainers, resistance-training machines and free weights.
Homeowners that enjoy attending group exercise classes like Zumba, Pilates, Yoga and step aerobics, over the gym are encouraged to join one of the many clubs that utilize the multi-purpose rooms in the community.

Hilton Head Plantation broke ground in 1973 and when complete it will include 4,278 homes with floor plans as unique as the community's numerous neighborhoods. And if potential homebuyers aren t satisfied with the available homes, they can hire an outside builder to create a custom plan to suit their precise wants.
Buyers have the option to purchase a resale home, condo, townhouse, or empty lot, upon which to build a new home. Condo and townhouse owners get to choose between below or above ground, covered parking.
Single-family homes make up the majority of homes in Hilton Head Plantation. These homes range in size from smaller, single-family villas to larger, estate homes with water views and optional casitas. All single-family homes have attached garages.

We live in the Oyster Reef Crossing section of HH Plantation. Our home is a large ranch and is absolutely perfect. We love the huge old trees surrounding our home and you'll find that pretty much throughout the entire community. If you like living in a more established neighborhood you'll like it here. The various clubhouses offer everything you could ever want and the Spring Lake Recreation Area is my favorite.
