Low $100s - High $1Ms
Located in the picturesque mountain town of Brevard—just a short drive from Asheville—Connestee Falls is a gated community with prices starting in the low $100s. The established community was first built in 1972 and features around 1,300 new construction and resale residences.
With both single-family and attached homes within the development, there are several floor plans and designs to choose from. The neighborhood’s attached homes range from 1,200 to 3,000 square feet with two to four bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and attached one or two-car garages. Single-family homes are slightly larger with options that range from 1,300 to more than 5,000 square feet. These homes can have up to five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an attached three-car garage.
Amenities within the gates include an expansive 26,000-square-foot clubhouse, meeting rooms, a dining room, a fitness center, locker rooms, a library, and a card room. There’s also a performance theater, a sports grill, a bar, and a lounge on-site.

This gated community is made up of a combination of 600 single-family homes and condos that are available as new or resale residences. Price points in Cummings Cove start in the high $100s. The age-restricted and gated community of Crowfields is another option to consider for affordable real estate in Asheville proper. The neighborhood has 192 attached homes available on a resale-only basis with prices starting from the high $100s. Floor plans span from 1,300 to 3,600 square feet with two to three bedrooms and two or two-and-a-half baths.
