Here’s a look at five active lifestyle communities that allow active adult homebuyers to find a home that fits within a $300,000 budget.

Robson RanchDenton, TX

Mid $200s – High $700s

A gated community in Denton, Robson Ranch is primarily geared toward residents age 55 and older. However, a portion of this golf course community is reserved for residents who are 40 and older. Active adult homebuyers can explore a variety of single-family and attached homes available on a new and resale basis in 25 floor plans. Homes range in size from 1,404 to 3,746 square feet and feature open kitchens, spacious great rooms, and expansive outdoor living space. Upon completion, Robson Ranch will contain 7,200 residences.

This age-restricted community offers more than 60 clubs including dog club and pottery club along with regularly held events such as Wednesday dine out and Bible study.

When it comes to amenities, homeowners can enjoy The Pinnacle, which offers a weight and cardio room, an indoor lap pool, a whirlpool, saunas, and a full-service salon. Ladera MansfieldMansfield, TX

This brand-new, 55+ community in Mansfield will contain 186 homes upon completion, including a select number of attached homes. Two floor plans—Perla and Sabina—offer 1,390 or 1,494 square feet. Single-family homes range in size from 1,519 to 2,511 square feet, providing all living space on a single story.

Some homes can include an optional second floor while all homes are energy-efficient and designed with crown molding, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances.

A homeowners’ association within Ladera Mansfield takes care of landscaping and lawn maintenance, including a water-well system that protects against water shortages. Homeowners can take advantage of a low-maintenance lifestyle and enjoy the community’s many amenities.
