About Legends Golf and Country Club

Legends Golf and Country Club is a beautiful gated community in an ideal golf setting in Fort Myers, Florida. Built by Lennar Homes from 1999 to 2006, Legends Golf and Country Club comprises 1,294 residences and provides a variety of home styles fit for today's active lifestyle.

The community is situated around the spectacular, newly renovated Legends 18-hole championship golf course. Residents enjoy having the choice of obtaining an included social membership or a paid golf membership.

Legends Golf and Country Club Amenities

Homeowners within Legends Golf and Country Club obtain an automatic club membership with the purchase of a home. This social membership provides access to dine at their on-site restaurant and various clubhouse amenities. Also, golf memberships are offered to homeowners at an additional cost. Residents enjoy teeing up at the newly renovated Legends 18-hole championship golf course.

In addition to its lush fairways and rolling hills, Legends Golf and Country Club offers a remarkable 25,000 square-foot clubhouse. Inside of the clubhouse, residents utilize the fitness center's bicycles, treadmills, and weight-lifting machines. They can also enjoy use of the library, restaurant, aerobics and dance studio, multi-purpose room and meeting room.

Outside of the clubhouse, homeowners enjoy a resort-style swimming pool and spa. There are also six more outdoor pools throughout the community providing a more intimate environment. Additionally, there are six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, four bocce ball courts, golf practice facilities, a pro shop and walking and biking trails.

Legends Golf and Country Club Homes & Real Estate

Lennar Homes began construction of Legends Golf and Country Club in 1999. After completing construction in 2006, Legends Golf and Country Club includes 1,294 residences throughout their gated community. Homebuyers can choose from condos, villas, and single-family homes.

There are two types of condominiums offered at Legends Golf and Country Club: terrace condos with one covered parking spot or garden condos that have a one-car garage. These low-maintenance condominiums offer two to three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and range from 1,170 to 1,617 square feet. These low-maintenance condos feature screened in lanais and provide ideal resort-style living in South Florida.

Homebuyers enjoy Legends Golf and Country Club's twin villa duplex homes because they provide more space with the feeling of a resort-style condo. There are three floor plans offered with the attached villa duplex homes ranging from 1,503 to 1,785 square feet. These homes provide at least two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage.

With a wide variety of floor plans, there is an abundance of single-family homes within the gates of Legends Golf and Country Club. All single-family homes are single-story residences ranging from 1,481 to 3,035 square feet. These elegant single-family homes have two to four bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and an attached two or three-car garage. Many of these homes feature lake or golf course views.

Homeowners pay an affordable quarterly fee to their neighborhood's homeowners association, which maintains common areas and provides upkeep for each of the six additional community pools.

Legends Golf and Country Club Lifestyle

Legends Golf and Country Club is a golf lover's paradise, however there are more ways to stay active. The spacious community clubhouse features a wealth of social activities coordinated on a regular basis, such as dinner dances, card tournaments, themed dinners, and Sunday buffet. Within the clubhouse residents enjoy the company of their neighbors and new friends while playing cards, bocce ball, or simply relaxing in the library. Legends Golf and Country Club provides both a fitness director and tennis professional to teach classes and deliver personal instruction.

Legends Golf and Country Club is conveniently located off Daniels Parkway, west of I-75 in Fort Myers, Florida. Legends Golf and Country Club s close proximity to I-75 provides residents with easy access to all of the fine dining, shopping malls, and beaches that Fort Myers has to offer.

Baseball fans living at Legends Golf and Country Club enjoy attending preseason games as Fort Myers hosts both Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox spring training facilities. Great facilities. Workers are great. But the residents are very clicky and not very friendly to newcomers.

There are lots of great things to say about The Legends Golf &CC – location, golf course, tennis, pools etc etc – but one of the most important feature is the people that work there – they make everything else great. It’s also the friendliness place i’ve ever lived. Best way to meet new friends.

Leased for three years at the Legends. Loved all the great stuff / but what convinced me to buy was the people – what a friendly bunch of people from all over the US and Canada— Lots of really nice CC communities in SW FL but the Legends have the friendliest people.

We purchased a Legends condo a year ago and are so pleased with life at The Legends! Residents are friendly; the grounds are immaculately kept; the facilities are beautiful; and the list of activities extensive! Fees are reasonable and we love the location, near airport, restaurants, shopping and beaches!

We looked all over Lee County and nothing ever really compared to Legends the golf, the restaurants , the people, the best kept secret in s w florida. We just bought our second place here and my sister-inlaw and hubby just bought here it’s truly paradise
