Started in 2006, Hill Country Retreat will contain more than 2,000 single-family homes. This 55+ community in the heart of the Texas Hill Country offers several floor plans, elevations, and upgrades with residences ranging from 1,109 to nearly 3,000 square feet. Most homes are single-story ranch homes with the option to add a second-floor loft.

Residents of Hill Country Retreat have access to a robust assortment of amenities at the community’s 28,000-square-foot clubhouse. There’s a fitness center with an aerobics studio, an indoor pool, an indoor walking track, a flexible ballroom, multiple hobby and game rooms, a billiards room, and a library. The amenities continue outdoors with two tennis courts and bocce ball courts as well as walking and biking trails.

High $300s – Low $400s

At The Orchards at Valley Ranch, active adult homebuyers can browse single-family homes that range from 1,675 to 2,245 square feet. Upon completion, this active adult community will contain 88 homes with features such as courtyards and fireplaces.

With Downtown San Antonio only about a 20-minute drive away, residents are never far from the city’s cultural and entertainment options. Within their own neighborhood, homeowners can take advantage of a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, an open-air pavilion, a basketball court, a catering kitchen, and community paths. A lap pool and a waterpark with two spiraling waterslides are also available during the warmer months of the year.
