Just take a look at the real estate that’s available for less than $200,000.

The homes we’re considering here are in some of the most desirable active adult communities in Boynton Beach, and they have space, amenities, and brilliant locations. They’re also close to beaches, shopping, and golf courses.

Indian Spring

Mid $100s – High $600s

Golfers will enjoy Indian Spring and its two championship courses. There’s also a practice putting green and a pro shop. Other impressive amenities include a day spa, restaurants and lounges, a fitness center, and an Olympic-sized outdoor pool.

Residents can also use one of the 13 additional pools throughout the community, and there are 26 tennis courts as well. Live entertainment can frequently be found at this 55+ community, and neighbors get together for karaoke, cocktail hours, and clay sculpting classes.

Golf course living doesn’t have to be cost-prohibitive. Condos, attached villas, and single-family homes are available on a resale basis, and many can be found for less than $200k. Condos are particularly affordable, offering 1,100 to 1,700 square feet with two or three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Golf course and lake views are available. Townhomes and attached villas are also affordable, offering 1,200 to 2,500 square feet with at least two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Seagate of Gulfstream

Below $100k – High $100s

Waterfront condo living is available to buyers considering a full-time Florida retirement or a part-time snowbird experience at Seagate of Gulfstream. This 55+ community is located right on the Intracoastal Waterway, treating residents to tranquil views and providing plenty of waterfront fun.

The condos are affordable and comfortable, offering 580 to 1,153 square feet with one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. There’s assigned parking, and the resale condo units for sale have modern updates and upgrades that include new floors and appliances.

Residents can enjoy a pool overlooking the water, shuffleboard courts, bocce ball courts, and outdoor patios and grilling areas. There are banana groves throughout the community, and the clubhouse includes a catering kitchen, meeting rooms, and a library. Seagate of Gulfstream is minutes from beaches, nature preserves, and popular golf courses like Hunter’s Run Country Club.

Aberdeen Golf & Country Club

Low $100s – Low $500s

There are no age restrictions at Aberdeen Golf & Country Club, making this affordable and amenity-rich community a great idea for buyers who want to live with younger family members or mingle with neighbors of all generations.

There are 2,900 single-family homes, attached villas, and condos, and they are available in a variety of models and floor plans. Condos have one to three bedrooms and one to two-and-a-half bathrooms. Coach homes and villas are set up as duplexes, and they include private outdoor space.

Amenities include 15 tennis courts and an 18-hole Desmond Muirhead Golf Course. There are golf practice facilities, a huge pool, and plenty of walking and biking trails that wind past scenic ponds and pleasant landscaping. The clubhouse covers 40,000 square feet and includes a dining room, beverage stations, a lounge and bar, and a cafe. There’s also a fitness center, a dance studio, and a place for cards and billiards. The travel club is popular, and residents are always getting together for pool parties.

Colonial Club

Below $100k – Mid $200s

This community is a great option for buyers who want low-maintenance living.

Plenty of affordable condos are available at Colonial Club, a 55+ community that’s close to great golfing and shopping. Resale homes are between 950 and 1,200 square feet, and they have one to two bedrooms and one to three bathrooms. Modern kitchens include plenty of pantry space, and master suites have double sinks and walk-in closets. Buyers can choose a property with a screened Florida room or select something with a balcony or patio.

Colonial Club has a clubhouse with an exercise room and space for billiards and games. There’s a library, a community kitchen, and multipurpose rooms for club events and community functions. Outside, residents can enjoy the pool and grilling area as well as shuffleboard courts.

This community is a great option for buyers who want low-maintenance living. The HOA takes care of maintaining the common areas as well as landscaping and pest control. HOA fees also include cable, building insurance, and property management fees as well as sewer, trash, and water.

Mirror Lakes

Low $100s – High $100s

Buyers who plan to make fishing a major part of their Florida retirement should consider Mirror Lakes, a 55+ community with a waterfront clubhouse, a dock, and a fishing lake. If that’s not enough, additional amenities include tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, a bocce ball court, and an outdoor pool with a patio. The clubhouse includes an exercise room, a billiards room, a game room, and an arts and crafts studio. Residents are known to get together for art classes, game nights, card clubs, and book discussions.

Single-family homes and attached villas are affordable and low maintenance. With 1,200 to 1,868 square feet, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage, residents find they have plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing without having to worry about a lot of upkeep and maintenance. There’s lots of closet space, granite counters in the kitchen, and open floor plans.
