This freedom can allow homebuyers to feel as if they are creating a home that is truly theirs. Communities with new construction also tend to be newer, although this isn’t always the case. Newer communities can have more modern clubhouses and common spaces, but very new communities may not have those amenities built yet.
In Maryland, 20 of the 59 active adult communities offer new homes. There is no standard “new home” community in Maryland. These 20 span the state geographically; are small, large, and medium-sized; including condo, attached, and single-family homes, and offer a variety of amenities.
Here are 4 of Maryland’s 55+ communities offering new construction homes.
