As one gazes out at Pennsylvania’s rolling green hills and gently sloping valleys, one word often comes to mind: golf. These wide-open spaces are conducive to the game, and there are many 55+ communities with easy access to top-notch courses.
Having a golf course in your neighborhood is a wonderful perk, and it usually comes with a fine clubhouse as well. Many active adults actually take up the sport once they retire and love it; it’s not hard to learn how to play, and it’s a great way to meet new friends and stay healthy.
