    Oxnard is located along the southern coast of California. Due to its seaside location, temperatures are more moderate throughout the year. Summers are warm to hot and winters are mild. The city receives many more sunny days than average, much less rainfall, and no snowfall.

    Oxnard is situated in a hilly area near the Topatopa Mountains. The Santa Clara river creates the city's northern border, and Point Mugu State Park is directly south.

Besides that, Oxnard features two car museums, the Mullin Automotive Museum and the Murphy Auto Museum, perfect for car and history lovers alike.

    The Channel Islands Harbor, one of the most popular destinations in Oxnard, offers locals several entertainment options, including dining, shopping, and boating with breathtaking views of the water. The harbor additionally hosts events like a weekly farmers market throughout the year. For more high-end and boutique shopping, residents can drive minutes to Ventura, under an hour to Santa Barbara, or just over an hour to Los Angeles.
