Weather can sometimes be wet as we average 60 inches of rainfall per year but winters are warm and it is uncommon for temperatures to drop below freezing. My husband and I have been married for 40 years and originally come from Denver, Colorado. We have raised three young men who are all married! When we became empty nesters, we relocated from Denver to Dallas before eventually settling in the Southport Coastal Region of North Carolina. We enjoy spending time with family and love the warm climate that the coastal area of Southport North Carolina offers.
