Looking for New York communities with golf courses? Here are four exciting options.

For avid golfers, being close to a course is more than a priority; it can be a deal-breaker. That is why golfers like to scout out areas for local clubs when looking for homes. What’s even better is having a golf course in or right next to your community. In some states like Florida, there is an abundance of active adult neighborhoods that have their own golf courses, but others do not have as many.

If your heart is set on retiring in New York, there are four 55+ golf course communities in the state. They are all gated neighborhoods, which is a huge plus. In addition to this, they have homes at different price points and extra amenities like clubhouses and tennis courts. With all these amenities, living in these developments is like being on vacation all year. Three are in Long Island and one is in the Hudson River Valley.

Here is the low-down on these four golf course communities with homes for sale in New York.
