An RV has always been a convenient way to hit the open road and explore all the U.S. has to offer. In recent years, there’s been a resurgence of travelers who are opting to pack up an RV and drive to their favorite destination instead of flying and staying at a hotel.
For active adults who prefer this method of travel, it can be hard to find a community that has additional space for residents to safely park their RVs. However, North Carolina has several active adult communities that offer a designated area for homeowners to park their RVs when they aren’t in use.
Here are six North Carolina communities that make RV travel easy.
High $200s – Mid $300s
The age-restricted 3 Cherry Way community features 202 attached homes with floor plans that vary between 1,788 to 2,638 square feet. Each plan offers two bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage.
Along with RV and boat storage, 3 Cherry Way offers residents several amenities, including a fitness center; billiards, craft, and card rooms; and a gathering center. Outdoor amenities include a pool, a patio, a BBQ area, and walking trails.
