In Sun City Apple Valley, active adult residents will find a diverse landscape, spectacular scenery, local attractions, community amenities, and a variety of social and recreational activities. This Del Webb community features a wide range of resort-style amenities while welcoming residents aged 55+.

Sun City Apple Valley is nestled in California’s Inland Empire area, just 40 miles north of San Bernardino. The community features beautiful views of the San Gorgonio Mountains, with easy access to the nearby San Bernardino National Forest and the Mojave Desert. There are few areas with so much diverse scenic beauty, and outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy having so many options for hiking, fishing, horseback riding, camping, and other recreational activities.

The community’s own small town feel is a strong selling point for those who want to live among their peers and have many opportunities to get to know their neighbors. As homebuyers have come to expect from Del Webb developments, Sun City Apple Valley offers many amenities and activities to support a rich, active adult lifestyle.

When it comes to homes, Sun City Apple Valley offers 12 Del Webb single-family floor plans which range in size from 1,099 to 2,230 square feet. Resale homes in the community often feature popular upgrades, while new construction homes have options which let homebuyers personalize their designs. Upon completion, the community will contain 1,700 single-family homes.

Sun City Apple Valley certainly lives up to Del Webb’s reputation for building amenity-rich communities. But you don’t have to take our word for it. The Del Webb Day Pass lets visitors tour the development and try out the amenities for themselves.

Sun City Apple Valley Amenities

The Aspen Clubhouse is Sun City Apple Valley’s social hub. This 22,000 square-foot amenity center houses recreational and social attractions and is the focal point of this Del Webb property. Yet, Sun City Apple Valley residents can also make use of the amenities found at the 8,000 square-foot Mariposa Lodge.

At the Aspen Clubhouse, residents will find a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with an indoor lap pool and dedicated aerobics and dance studio. There is an arts and crafts studio, card and billiards rooms, a library, a computer lab, and a grand ballroom. Outdoors, residents will find lighted tennis courts, bocce ball courts, resort-style swimming pools, and a large patio with an outdoor fireplace.

The Mariposa Lodge has additional amenities which can be used by Sun City Apple Valley residents, as well as by the residents of the neighboring Jess Ranch and Wyndham Rose communities. This recreational center has its own fitness center, swimming pools, hobby and game rooms, sports courts, and an outdoor amphitheater.

Golf Courses

Sun City Apple Valley is also home to the 27-hole, par-65 Ashwood Golf Course. This public, executive golf course winds through California’s high desert with three beautiful 9-hole courses– Mesquite, Sycamore, and Birch. Golfers can choose to play 18 holes with either the Mesquite/Sycamore or Birch/Mesquite courses. Either offers multiple tee boxes, with the longest tees spanning just over 4,825 yards.
