Sun City Apple Valley is nestled in California’s Inland Empire area, just 40 miles north of San Bernardino. The Aspen Clubhouse is Sun City Apple Valley’s social hub. This 22,000 square-foot amenity center houses recreational and social attractions and is the focal point of this Del Webb property. Yet, Sun City Apple Valley residents can also make use of the amenities found at the 8,000 square-foot Mariposa Lodge.

At the Aspen Clubhouse, residents will find a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with an indoor lap pool and dedicated aerobics and dance studio. There is an arts and crafts studio, card and billiards rooms, a library, a computer lab, and a grand ballroom. Outdoors, residents will find lighted tennis courts, bocce ball courts, resort-style swimming pools, and a large patio with an outdoor fireplace.

The Mariposa Lodge has additional amenities which can be used by Sun City Apple Valley residents, as well as by the residents of the neighboring Jess Ranch and Wyndham Rose communities. This recreational center has its own fitness center, swimming pools, hobby and game rooms, sports courts, and an outdoor amphitheater.

Golf Courses

Sun City Apple Valley is also home to the 27-hole, par-65 Ashwood Golf Course. This public, executive golf course winds through California’s high desert with three beautiful 9-hole courses– Mesquite, Sycamore, and Birch. Golfers can choose to play 18 holes with either the Mesquite/Sycamore or Birch/Mesquite courses. Either offers multiple tee boxes, with the longest tees spanning just over 4,825 yards.
