Sun City Apple Valley Reviews (3)

Average Rating for this Community

We have lived in the High Desert area since 1973 and moved here in our retirement in 2006. We wanted somewhere to safely walk our dog, ride our bikes and enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains and desert. We love the everyday blue skies of the Mojave Desert, the Town of Apple Valley and surrounding mountains. We can walk/bike to the shops, Farmers Market and events at Victor Valley Community College, cinema, and much more. The Sun City community is next to and within the same gated area along the Mojave River as Wyndham Rose and Jess Ranch which expands the miles of walking/biking opportunities. Having lived here in the High Desert for so long that we are accustomed to the spring winds and actually enjoy them! They help to keep the air cool and clean. All 3 communities have their different attractions and homeowner dues. Check all the details!

Very affordable for those who wish to live in CA. New buyers beware that there are homes that are not part of SCAV but are Jess Ranch or Wyndham Rose and do not use our amenities. Shopping is right outside the gate. Can bike ride to eateries and stores or along the river. Quiet neighborhood with a cozy feel. Our event planner is a great gal who throws fun get-togethers. I live in the area close to the Aspen and love my house with great neighbors.

Sun City Apple Valley is a great value in a great location. The amenities are top-notch and the golf is great. My wife and I moved here about three years ago and have loved every minute. All the facilities here are very well maintained the grounds are nicely landscaped. It's like living in your own little resort plus it is a gated community. The golf course here is pretty easy which makes for a fun day, even for my non-golfing wife! There are plenty of other courses nearby too.
