Living in a golf course community means a day on the links at any time.

What goes into making the perfect golf course? Challenging shots, lengthy fairways, and well-maintained putting greens, to start. Finding the perfect active adult community that has its own golf course is a bit trickier, though. This requires resort-style amenities, low-maintenance homes, and an ideal location.

Golf course communities make it easy to stay physically and socially active. Playing golf gets players outdoors, and despite being a more serene game, it has good physical and health benefits. These communities also have built-in social networks, with plenty of golf fans that are always looking for partners. Connections can be made at the clubhouse, as players congregate before and after games or take advantage of the available amenities.

Pennsylvania has seven active adult golf course communities, ranging from an intimate 96 homes up to more than 1,000. The state’s diverse landscape allows waterfalls, mountains, autumn foliage, and winding rivers to all become breathtaking scenery during games.

Homebuyers who seek this kind of rewarding lifestyle should consider Pennsylvania real estate and see what these desirable communities have to offer.
