1. Sun City Peachtree – Griffin

Low $200s – Mid $300s

Located just under an hour from Atlanta in Griffin, Sun City Peachtree is a 3,387-home Del Webb community spread across 1,700 acres. You can choose from new construction homes and a growing assortment of pre-owned resale single-family  You can also select from a variety of ranch floor plans that range in size from 1,103 to 2,722 square feet. All homes feature one to four bedrooms, one-and-a-half to three bathrooms, and an attached two- to two-and-a-half-car garage.

Club Peachtree is this community’s fabulous amenity center that opened in early 2009 and is 45,000 square feet. It includes a state-of-the-art fitness center that has the latest high-end cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. The fitness center also has an indoor track and aerobics and dance studio. There are also plenty of ways to stay in shape outdoors, including tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts. There’s also an 18-hole golf course on site.

2. Village at Deaton Creek – Hoschton

Low $400s – Mid $500s

Village at Deaton Creek by Del Webb is nestled 40 miles north of Atlanta, where the world-class dining, shopping and entertainment of the city meets the rural charm of Hoschton and the Blue Ridge Mountains. An intimate, guard gated community with 1,144 single-family and attached homes, Village at Deaton Creek has plenty of options. Homes come in 14 different floor plans ranging from 1,245 to 2,7122 square feet and including two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and two- to three-car garages.

The Club at Deaton Creek is the community’s 35,000 square-foot two-story clubhouse that serves as the catalyst for all community social and fitness activities. 3. Del Webb at Lake Oconee – Greensboro

Del Webb at Lake Oconee is one of the few Del Webb communities in the country located on a navigable lake. Situated 75 miles east of Atlanta, Del Webb at Lake Oconee combines rural charm with convenient access to the culture and entertainment of Atlanta. Homes come in four different collections and over 20 floor plans ranging in size from 1,217 to 2,597 square feet. They include one to four bedrooms, one-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and two- to three-car garages.

Over 30 percent of the community is preserved in its natural state, while Lake Oconee includes 19,000 acres of navigable water. Homeowners have 1,400 feet of direct lake access, which includes 38 boat slips, a boat launch, and boat storage facility. Other amenities include a fitness center, resort-style pool, sports courts, and much more.

4. Cresswind at Lake Lanier – Gainesville

Cresswind at Lake Lanier is a 55+, gated community that offers more than 900 single-family homes in a versatile range of sizes and options. Depending on the model, some homes have two or four bedrooms and feature touches that discerning homeowners will love, such as granite countertops in the kitchens and Energy Star rated appliances. All of the homes are ranch-style homes with single-level designs.
