Del Webb Reno, NV - Was our pick after looking at many places around the western US. The Del Webb Team was very helpful and went out of their way to help us in the choice of a home and the many extras that were added to make it a conformable place to retire. With all the amenities, here there is never a dull moment, in fact I need more time in the day just to keep up. Reno itself is a great town with much more to offer than most cities I have lived in, activities twenty-four hours a day and night. Just Love It !

Beautiful scenery nice people great town and lovely house.

We built a new home here last year, the Alpine model. The experience went better than expected. We built a new home in the past and it was a nightmare! Del Webb was easy to work with through the process and took care of the few random service issues we had after moving in. So far, so good. The clubhouse here is fantastic, everything is new and well taken care of by the team here. The lifestyle director plans a ton of activities and events and seems to know everyone by name. It's nice feeling part of a real community.

HOA dues are a bit high ($180/month) and the Sierra Canyon HOA is controlled by the Somersett HOA (SOA). SOA is currently involved in multiple law suits against the developer, the country club and various home owners. Living here is like living in Navy enlisted base housing. My home will be on the market in the next few months and I'm going to find a pleasant place to live without the 60 pages of CC&Rs and architectural guide lines.
