Climate & Geography
Like most of the state, Central North Carolina has a humid subtropical climate, which is characterized by hot, humid summers and cool to mild winters. Residents can expect more rainfall than average, almost no snowfall, and approximately 217 sunny days throughout each year.
The village is situated just south of the city of Charlotte, and lies along the border between North Carolina and South Carolina. The surrounding terrain is mostly made up of residential subdivisions to the north and low, flat land to the south and west.
