For entertainment, residents enjoy local theater productions and community fairs. There are several outlet stores in nearby towns for shopping. Retirees seeking more entertainment, dining, and shopping can head under a half-hour to Manchester or an hour to Boston.

Other nearby hospitals include Hampstead Hospital, Parkland Medical Center, Manchester Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Exeter Hospital.
