Temperatures are in the low 90s during the warmest months of the year and can get as low as 50 degrees during the dead of winter.

With such great weather, miles of Atlantic shoreline, and the St. Lucie River nearby, Palm City residents can take their pick from an endless supply of outdoor activities. A few go-tos within driving distance are Jensen Sea Turtle Beach, Hobe Sound Beach, and Stuart Beach. For the adventure-seeking crowd, there’s no shortage of water recreation, from boating and deep-sea fishing to snorkeling and kayaking.

Palm City also offers plenty of options for those who prefer to stay on dry land. There are several parks to choose from in the area, including Leighton Park, Jock Leighton Park, Lance Corporal Justin Wilson Memorial Park, and Pendarvis Cove Park.

The area’s many golf courses are also a huge draw for Palm City. The long list of courses includes the Crane Watch Golf Club, the Palm Cove Golf and Yacht Club, the Hammock Creek Golf Club, and the Monarch Country Club.
