    A small city in Northern Georgia, Acworth is located at the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. Summers are hot and sunny, and winters are cold and wet. Residents can expect to see more rain than the national average and about 200 sunny days a year. 

    Acworth is home to a small-town atmosphere. The city itself is surrounded by many state parks and large bodies of water including Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona.
