    Just a drive away from New York City, East Brunswick is a small town located in Central New Jersey.     East Brunswick is situated on low-lying, flat land in Central New Jersey between Philadelphia and New York City. Farrington Lake runs along the town’s northwestern edge while Jamesburg Park is at the town’s southern edge. Beaverdam Brook, Sawmill Brook, and Ireland Brook all run through East Brunswick.

    East Brunswick is home to numerous popular local events, including the Middlesex County Fair and the East Brunswick Art and Music Festival. Nearby New Brunswick offers a farmers market from June through October where residents can pick up fresh fruits and vegetables. Those who appreciate the arts will enjoy a visit to Playhouse 22, East Brunswick’s local theater. Entirely run by volunteers, members of the community who share a passion for theater come together and work on the productions.

    Brunswick Square Mall features many popular commercial stores and restaurants. Additionally, there are many supermarkets and restaurants scattered through East Brunswick, providing everything one would need within close proximity to home. Residents that want to experience more extensive shopping options can head to New York City, about an hour away from East Brunswick. 

    For active adults looking to get outside, Jamesburg Park offers a quiet escape. The wooded area provides trails for a peaceful stroll as well as canoeing and kayaking opportunities in Helmetta Pond. Residents can visit this park all year to surround themselves in nature.
