East Brunswick is situated on low-lying, flat land in Central New Jersey between Philadelphia and New York City. Farrington Lake runs along the town’s northwestern edge while Jamesburg Park is at the town’s southern edge. Beaverdam Brook, Sawmill Brook, and Ireland Brook all run through East Brunswick.

For active adults looking to get outside, Jamesburg Park offers a quiet escape. The wooded area provides trails for a peaceful stroll as well as canoeing and kayaking opportunities in Helmetta Pond. Residents can visit this park all year to surround themselves in nature.
