The gated 55+ community of Plantation at Leesburg is staffed with security guards 24 hours a day. There are two semi-private golf courses named Otter’s Creek and Crain’s Roost, and residents can also enjoy the pro shop and Plantation Oaks Restaurant. Other amenities promoting physical activity include shuffleboard and tennis courts, pickleball, a sand volleyball court, and 10 horseshoe pits. There’s also an outdoor pool as well as a field for softball and baseball.
With 2,820 single-family homes at Plantation at Leesburg, buyers have a lot of choices when it comes to resale properties. Snowbirds make up a significant part of the Kings Ridge neighborhood, and the reason is likely because this 55+ community is gated and secure. Kings Ridge has two golf courses, tennis, pickleball, and a large outdoor pool and spa. The Royal Club is a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse that includes a fitness center; hobby, game, and multi-purpose rooms; and a library.

Four lakes on the property provide fishing and canoeing opportunities, and residents also have access to an 18-hole championship golf course. In addition to the fishing pier and boat ramp, there are miles of trails for hiking, walking, and biking. Residents also have access to a pool, a fitness center, and a recreation hall.
There are 1,500 single-family resale homes behind the gates of Royal Highlands. More than 50 unique models are available with between two and four bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and attached garages for one or two cars.
