Pennbrooke Fairways was initially established as a manufactured and mobile home community until Florida Lifestyle Community acquired the property in the 1990s. The developer expanded the 538-acre site to include many styles of site-built residences, attached as well as detached, and completed all 1,200 homes by 2004. Homes in this resident-owned neighborhood are built around small lakes, conservation areas, and three nine-hole executive golf courses.
