Arlington Ridge Reviews
- Steve |January 17, 2018We just tried to buy at Arlington Ridge, cash deal. The salesman pressured us to fly out now as "lots are selling fast".. We did, selected a lot, selected a house plan, but could not return during the three-day design window two months from now. We could make it a week after that, but they would not lock in our lot or price by contract. Also there is NO negotiation or date flexibility. Our 55+ agent could not get AR to budge, so I don't really see any need to get a purchase agent to tag along.
- N and M (Resident/Homeowner)|November 6, 2017We have been residents for a little over a year and absolutely love our home, the community, and the people. This is a very friendly community with so amenities to choose. We definitely found home.
- Jan |October 9, 2017CalAtlantic (formerly Standard Pacific) built our townhome in West Palm Beach, FL
After two n years, 8 units has Chinese Drywall. Although the builder repaired, it was never the same. Had plumbing issues in the shower which leaked into garage. Would never buy a home from them. Buyer beware!
- Ruth (Resident/Homeowner)|August 6, 2017Builder is shady. Shows one house gets your deposit then charges extra for everything like $80.00 toilet paper holders. Don't buy here.
- Henry J.|January 8, 2017Nice community including a good golf course. Community center has a good restaurant that I've enjoyed a few times! Mix of older and newer homes!
- Lavern W.(Resident/Homeowner)|May 31, 2016We recently closed on our new house at Arlington Ridge, and are extremely impressed with the buying process and the home that we ended up with.
One of the highlights of buying a place at Arlington Ridge is the ability to customize it. It really is possible to make is exactly the dream home that you are dreaming of. We did; they even put a cat door in for us.
The quality control is also first-rate. When we did our walk-through, the FLC agent found more issues than we did, and was prompt in making sure that the few issues that were found were addressed quickly.
One reason I selected Arlington Ridge is the concrete block construction of all homes. This is extremely valuable in Florida, since there are occasional hurricanes. It is also one item that differentiates it from The Villages, where not all homes are concrete block construction.
The amenities are first-rate here. We are enjoying the pools and the golf course.
The first day we were here, there was a block party dinner. It seems our block does this once a month. We had a great time, and found out we had friendly neighbors. Two weeks later one person on our block had a party at their house for the new residents, where they had a chance to meet their neighbors in a social setting. This type of neighborhood support is important, and we appreciate it.
- Susan L.(Resident/Homeowner)|July 23, 2013I've lived in Florida all my life and have never enjoyed my home and neighborhood more than I do now at Arlington Ridge. It's been a wonderful place to call home and spend retirement days with my wife and friends. Here are a few reasons we love living here:
Great Golf - The golf course here is very nice and fun to play no matter how good, or bad, of a golfer you are.
I Feel Great - My wife has finally convinced me to exercise with her at the gym a couple times a week. It's amazing how much better I feel!
Friends - We've met so many great people here. There are lots of events all year long like picnics, block parties and pool parties.
There are lots of other great things about living here. The restaurants are great, lots of pool tables, nice theater ... we use everything and love it all.
