Florida has always been an attractive retirement destination. With more than 1,000 golf courses, the Sunshine State is especially desirable for golfers looking for fairways close to home. Del Webb Orlando – Davenport, FL

Located in Central Florida, Del Webb Orlando has plans for 830 single-family homes. Although relatively smaller than many communities, Del Webb Orlando offers an amenity-rich clubhouse, swimming pools, sports courts, and the 18-hole Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club.

Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club is also home to its own 5,000-square-foot clubhouse as well as a pro shop, a full driving range, and chipping and putting areas. The course itself was designed by Ted McAnlis and features strategically placed hazards and multiple tee boxes for golfers of all skill levels. Membership at this public course is optional for community residents.

Pelican Preserve – Fort Myers, FL

Arlington Ridge – Leesburg, FL
