Henderson is the second-largest city in Nevada, after Las Vegas which is about 16 miles southeast. The constant hot weather allows for nature visits to Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, Ethel M Chocolates Factory & Cactus Garden, and River Mountain Loop Trail.
