I love visiting, I have a few friends who live in Sterling at Silver Springs. Unfortunately I’m not 55 yet but when I am I plan on buying there. It’s always very quiet, people are friendly they wave at you when you drive by. I see a review that’s pretty negative and none of my friends nor myself have ever experienced that sort of behavior. You have to get along with other people and not blame them for your shortcomings.
My family has lived here since 2005 and it is an extremely quiet neighborhood with the occasional ambulance being called for health issues. It’s a very safe neighborhood. We love having the wetlands behind us nothing will ever be developed there.
I see one other review on here complaining about everything. I’ve never seen the police in my neighborhood. I’ve seen a fire truck a couple of times assisting paramedics which is to be expected for a +55 community. It is extremely quiet here especially at night. I’ve been here almost a year. We get a monthly newsletter of projects going on in the community and club house activities. There’s a huge pool and beautiful putting greens. Plenty of parking for visitors. Only minutes away from lots of shopping in the Henderson area. I picked a perfect location for myself and I enjoy living here.
When I first viewed this home and was able to speak with one of the owners, I felt as though I had to live here and that I would be extremely satisfied with my surroundings. There are far too many "petty" complaints from some residents, such as: People sitting in their cars reading and/or going through their mail. REALLY? Fire Department being called out due to a neighbor grilling in his backyard. Metro being called on a neighbor while exercising in the exercise room. COME ON! There are too many homeowners who do not have a life and they complain about every little thing they can. If you buy in here and can get past the "whiners" that live here, then you will love it here. By the way, when these complaints are made, all homeowners get a newsletter on their doors informing you of the complaint and basically letting you know not to do it. As for the calls made to the Fire Department and Metro, the Fire Department thought it was a joke when they saw what the homeowner was doing and Metro never approached the homeowner that was exercising. Wasting tax payer money making these calls.
