    Bensalem is a popular township located northeast of Philadelphia in Eastern Pennsylvania.     Bensalem experiences all four seasons, and the area receives an average number of sunny days as well as more rainfall and less snowfall than average. The town is located on lower-lying land.

    Bensalem is located on the fall line between the flat terrain of the Atlantic Coastal Plain and the rolling hills of the Piedmont Plateau. The town is home to Neshaminy State Park and is bordered by the Delaware River.

    Bensalem has plenty of activities and entertainment options to offer throughout the year. Locals enjoy visiting Central Park for the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater, which hosts outdoor musical performances during the warmer months. Each year, the Bensalem Fall Festival is held in Central Park. Another popular spot for live entertainment in Bensalem is the Xcite Center. Located inside of Parx Casino, the Xcite Center hosts events like comedy shows and live music.

    Neshaminy State Park presents visitors with a peaceful retreat to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. Situated beside the Delaware River, the park offers hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing opportunities, and residents can enjoy the park’s stunning river views all year.

    In addition, many boutiques and eateries are located in Bensalem. The Neshaminy Mall provides the area with well-known shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. The Historical Society of Bensalem takes pride in preserving the area’s historical past. The society offers a museum and learning center where locals can learn about the area’s history and view artifacts. For even more entertainment, Philadelphia is a half-hour away.
